Why Acupuncture?
how it helps, how it compares to other forms of medicine and why it's safe
Acupuncture is one the few holistic forms of medicine in this world that can treat nearly all forms of human illnesses. Time has proven its safety. Acupuncture has been practiced in China for over 2,000 years.
So what is acupuncture and what will it do for you? Acupuncture involves inserting incredibly thin needles at precise points on the body. These points are centers of nervous, vascular and connective tissue, which act as gateways for the flow of energy through the body. In Chinese medicine, that energy is called Qi (pronounced “chee”). Modern medicine has enabled us to measure the Qi flowing through the body at these points.
